HealthGen's product, Jian Ke Tuo® (tobramycin inhalation solution, 5ml: 300mg/vial), was included in Category B of the National Medical Insurance Catalog. The agreement period is from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025. This product is suitable for adults with bronchiectasis and lung infection caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa, controlling infection and improving symptoms. By changing the administration route from intravenous injection to nebulized inhalation, it increases the effective drug concentration in the lungs while reducing systemic toxicity, significantly reducing the risk of drug resistance. It is suitable for long-term maintenance therapy, providing more support for bronchiectasis patients and improving their quality of life. It is understood that there are approximately 20 million patients with bronchiectasis in China, with a prevalence of about 1.2% in people over 40 years old, yet there are no targeted drugs available.
