Operating with Green Sustainability
Joincare adheres to the principle of green development. While strictly following the environmental compliance requirements, we deeply integrate the concept of “green and low-carbon” into all aspects of our operations and management. We actively advocate the use of clean energy, practice low-carbon operation modes, strengthen resource conservation actions, and reduce waste emissions, to improve our environmental management performance in a comprehensive manner. The goal is to better contribute to the national goals of “carbon peaking” and “carbon neutrality” and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
EHS Management Structure
To enhance the EHS management level, Joincare continuously improves the EHS management structure to define responsibilities and ensure their performance according to the EHS Management Policy. As the highest responsible body, the Sustainable Development Committee of the Board of Directors is responsible for formulating EHS-related strategies and policies, such as those on environmental management and resource utilisation, regularly reviewing the Group’s performance in environmental management performance, and reporting EHS issues to the Board of Directors.
Production subsidiaries of the Group have also developed a standardised EHS management system. As the first responsible person for EHS, the general manager is in charge of the overall environmental protection work; as the directly responsible persons, supervisors or department managers are in charge of the preparation of EHS initiatives, filing to the EHS Department of the Group, and supervision of the implementation of specific initiatives; and the employees of the subsidiaries cooperate with the Group’s EHS policy and their EHS responsible persons in EHS management.
As of the end of the reporting period, the Group’s headquarters and all manufacturing subsidiaries had obtained ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certification, achieving a 100% certification rate.
Integrating environmental performance into management’s remuneration
The management’s remuneration is linked with the Group’s environmental performance to accelerate the realisation of energy conservation, emission reduction, and carbon emission goals. ESG indicators have been added to the individual performance assessment of all SustainabilityWorking Group members since 1 January 2022, with a weight of 10% in the total performance system.

Continuing to Strengthen Environmental Management
Joincare strictly enforces internal audit procedures to ensure effective implementation of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management. Each year, we conduct no fewer than two internal EHS audits for each subsidiary. Following each audit, we promptly compile and consolidate findings, require corrective actions for non-conformities, and supervise rectification efforts. Continuous follow-up is conducted to ensure full remediation. Additionally, we undergo annual reviews and third-party surveillance audits for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 50001 certifications. These audits include energy audits, waste audits, water resource assessments, and water balance tests to explore opportunities for energy conservation, water savings, and resource efficiency improvements.
Joincare conducts an EHS external audit annually and engages qualified third-party certification agencies to audit and supervise production subsidiaries that have obtained ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 certifications. During the course, we carry out energy audit, waste audit and water use assessment, continuously identify opportunities for improving energy performance, water efficiency and waste performance, and strengthen management requirements of all kinds. Besides, we review the energy use within the ISO systems. Based on the evaluation of energy use and energy consumption, Joincare identifies the overall energy use by category. We refine the management of facilities and equipment with a huge impact on this front, identify and prioritize opportunities for better energy performance, and devise targeted improvement measures.
In addition, we regularly conduct dedicated training for all employees on topics such as energy conservation and consumption reduction, efficient utilization of water resources, and waste reduction and resource recovery, guiding employees to optimize the efficiency of energy and water resource use and to improve energy management and standardized waste management performance. In 2025, Joincare conducted a total of 24 training sessions related to energy efficiency management, waste management, and water-use efficiency management. Among them, Haibin Pharma carried out training on topics including the standardized management of hazardous waste, energy-saving management of substation, boiler room, and power distribution room operations, and energy-use management for new construction, renovation, and expansion projects; Xinxiang Haibin conducted training on topics such as energy management improvement and case-based interpretation of laws on hazardous waste; Jiaozuo Joincare provided training and communication on its environmental protection management system, hazardous waste management system, and production wastewater discharge management system; and Taitai Pharmaceutical conducted training on topics such as the safety management of environmental hazardous waste.
GHG Emissions Targets
The Group’s greenhouse gas emissions primarily originate from fuel combustion, electricity consumption, and purchased steam used in production and operations. After comprehensively evaluating the achievement of the 2022–2025 carbon emission targets and factors such as the Group's own business development and industry trends, we used 2025 as the base year to set 2030 carbon emission targets, and planned the Group's low-carbon transition plan around these targets.
