My name is Lao Qicong. I joined Lizhu Group's Xinbei Jiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in March 1996 and am currently responsible for disinfection in the fermentation engineering department's workshop 1. Our team achieved a contamination rate of less than 3% in 2020. Fermentation Department 1 mainly produces three products: AC/TB/MX. TB/MX had zero contamination throughout the year, and AC's contamination rate was controlled below 3%. To achieve this goal, our team came up with many ideas:
We started with the equipment, improving equipment with key disinfection and contamination risks. For example, the seeding and feeding pipes were changed from the original soft tubes to stainless steel pipes, reducing the risk of contamination in this process; important equipment was simplified, making it easier to clean, with fewer blind spots, and reducing the risk of contamination.
We also explored disinfection operation standardization management, training, and innovation: disinfection operations were strictly carried out according to established requirements; equipment inspection and leak testing required review and confirmation by the foreman; on-site inspections were strengthened, and operational problems were promptly trained and corrected; every week, we chatted with the foreman and team members to analyze and summarize the problems found in disinfection. For example, if the liquid level is high during disinfection, leading to the risk of liquid leakage and contamination, what solutions should be used to solve it, etc. Through repeated experiments, we successfully solved the problem of high disinfection foam, thereby reducing the risk of contamination.
In the eyes of ordinary people, disinfection work is not complicated, but it is actually not easy to do it well. Disinfection work has more stringent requirements for details. Only by continuously improving work details, strengthening operational skills training, improving the team's awareness of details, and not letting go of any "clues", can the predetermined work goals be achieved.
This year marks my 25th year at Lizhu Xinbei Jiang. I've gone from a young man to a veteran of the company. Young people have the advantages of youth, and veterans have their own strengths.
