Recently, Jiange County, Sichuan Province, received a donation of 1 million yuan worth of chronic disease poverty alleviation drugs from Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Health Yuan"). This is another successful chronic disease poverty alleviation project implemented by Health Yuan in Sichuan Province. Previously, Health Yuan and its holding subsidiary, Lizhu Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., have implemented chronic disease poverty alleviation projects in Zhaotien District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province, and Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, attracting widespread attention.
It is understood that Jiange County, Sichuan Province, is located at the junction of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu provinces, in the contiguous poverty-stricken area of the Qinba Mountains. For many years, the local people have lived by the mountains and rivers, with inconvenient transportation and poor information access, resulting in insufficient development advantages and widespread poverty. At the critical stage of winning the decisive battle against poverty, the central government has remobilized and redeployed the decisive battle against poverty, fully demonstrating China's strong will and confidence in fulfilling its solemn commitment. In response to the current situation and tasks of the battle against poverty, and in combination with the local conditions of Jiange County, Sichuan Province, Health Yuan has implemented a chronic disease poverty alleviation project targeting the elderly population with chronic diseases in this region. This series of measures is highly consistent with the guiding goals of the recent "Decisive Battle Against Poverty" symposium held by the central government.
“The number of chronic disease patients in China remains high and is increasing year by year, with too many families falling back into poverty due to illness. Health Yuan focuses on chronic disease poverty alleviation, providing free chronic disease drugs to impoverished people with chronic diseases to help win the battle against poverty,” explained the person in charge of Health Yuan's public welfare initiatives, explaining the company's initial intention for chronic disease poverty alleviation.
“Everyone, regardless of their wealth, has the right to enjoy their old age,” Health Yuan's charitable efforts have never ceased since the inception of the chronic disease poverty alleviation project. To date, it has implemented chronic disease poverty alleviation projects in Dongxiang County, Gansu Province; Zhaotien District, Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province; Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province; Xianghai, Tongyu County, Jilin Province; and Hunyuan County, Guangling County, and Lingqiu County, Datong City, Shanxi Province. The implementation of the chronic disease poverty alleviation project in Jiange County, Sichuan Province, is another important measure by Health Yuan to implement the national precision poverty alleviation strategy.
