Recently, in supporting the fight against the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd. Following the donation of materials and funds worth a total of 22 million yuan (10 million yuan from Health Yuan Group and 12 million yuan from its subsidiary, Lizhu Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd.), the company donated a total of 3.4 million yuan worth of "Bena" (Meropenem for Injection) to the China Red Cross Foundation, leveraging its corporate strengths. Part of these materials will be directly donated to Xianghai Township, Tongyu County, Baicheng City, Jilin Province, to alleviate the shortage of medical supplies in this impoverished area during the epidemic prevention and control efforts.
It is understood that while supporting epidemic prevention and control, Health Yuan Group's poverty alleviation work, which is comprehensively promoted, has been proceeding in an orderly manner. The chronic disease poverty alleviation project of Health Yuan & Lizhu Group officially landed in the villages surrounding the Xianghai Nature Reserve in December last year, donating medicines worth 1 million yuan to 16 villages, benefiting a total of 800 villagers, and assisting in their medical poverty alleviation. Since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic, while focusing on epidemic prevention and control, Health Yuan Group has not relaxed its efforts in targeted poverty alleviation, achieving both epidemic prevention and control and targeted poverty alleviation without compromising either.
Public information shows that the "Bena" (Meropenem for Injection) donated by Health Yuan Group is suitable for adults and children with infections caused by single or multiple bacteria sensitive to meropenem, including pneumonia, urinary tract infections, gynecological infections, skin and soft tissue infections, meningitis, and sepsis. It is understood that these materials will effectively alleviate the pressure on drug supply in the recipient areas during the current epidemic.
The novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has brought new challenges to the company's targeted poverty alleviation work this year.
