On the evening of July 15, the 2019 National Pharmacy Week and China Pharmaceutical Innovation Development Conference officially opened in Jinan, Shandong. At the conference, the 2018 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry List was officially released.
The "2018 Top 100 Chinese Pharmaceutical Industry List" consists of 5 sub-lists:
"Top 100 Chinese Chemical Pharmaceutical Enterprises", "Top 100 Chinese Traditional Chinese Medicine Enterprises", "Top 20 Chinese CRO (including CDMO) Enterprises", "Top 20 Chinese Medical Devices (including IVD) Enterprises", and "Top 20 Chinese Biopharmaceutical Enterprises (including blood products, vaccines, insulin, etc.)", totaling 260 companies on the list.

This list is compiled by the China Pharmaceutical Industry Top 100 Ranking Expert Committee organized by the Mi Nei Institute, relying on the Mi Nei Network's unique, long-running database of three major terminals and six major market terminal structures in China. It evaluates pharmaceutical companies based on two key dimensions: innovation driving force and professional promotion capability.
The total score of the selected companies consists of two parts: firstly, the company's innovation driving force, i.e., the comprehensive score of the R&D investment in 2018, accounting for 40% of the weight; secondly, the company's professional promotion capability, which is rigidly defined by the quantitative data of the final choices of clinical doctors and patients in 2018, that is, the score obtained from quantitative analysis combining the Mi Nei Network's exclusive data from three major terminals and six major market terminals, accounting for 60% of the weight.
