Health Yuan's Precision Poverty Alleviation: Health Poverty Alleviation
Promoting poverty alleviation projects is a major strategic decision made based on China's national conditions and current situation, to achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, one of the most important tasks that the Party Central Committee has focused on is the poverty alleviation of impoverished people, mobilizing the entire Party, the entire country, and the entire society to launch a comprehensive battle against poverty. The "Suggestions on the 13th Five-Year Plan", formulated and deliberated and adopted at the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee, proposed that poverty alleviation of impoverished people is the most arduous task in building a moderately prosperous society in all respects, marking a new stage of national efforts in poverty alleviation projects. Against the backdrop of the interaction between "moderately prosperous society" and "the great Chinese dream", all sectors of society have worked together and responded actively. As a leading pharmaceutical group in the country, Health Yuan has taken the lead in shouldering its corporate social responsibility, responding to the national call, and actively carrying out precision poverty alleviation work.
With the support of the local government, Health Yuan Group precisely targeted two areas, Guangyuan Chaotien District and Songpan County in Sichuan Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, to carry out a health poverty alleviation project for the elderly and middle-aged chronic disease population—donating medicines worth 2 million yuan.
