On the evening of August 27, “2020 Moving Shenzhen—Shenzhen Special Economic Zone 40th Anniversary Caring Ceremony” (hereinafter referred to as the “Award Ceremony”) was held in the Shenzhen Radio and Television Group Broadcasting Hall. It reviewed the development history of Shenzhen's caring actions and looked forward to the bright future of the “City of Care”. Wang Weizhong, Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC; Chen Rugui, Mayor of Shenzhen; Luo Wenzhi, Director of the Standing Committee of the Shenzhen Municipal People's Congress; Lin Jie, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPPCC; and Zheng Ke, Deputy Secretary of the Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the CPC, attended the event. Bai Yansong, a host of China Central Television, served as the guest host.

On September 9, 2019, Shenzhen Business Daily launched the selection activity for “Top Ten Caring Enterprises”, receiving a total of 1221 recommendations of caring role models and excellent projects from all walks of life. The activity attracted 1,154,000 participants from 35 provinces and cities, with a total of 9,459,000 likes.
After the procedures of organization recommendation or self-recommendation, soliciting opinions from relevant units, preliminary evaluation, announcement, and final evaluation, the “Top Ten Caring Enterprises” were finally selected on June 5 this year, with Jiankangyuan among them.
At the award ceremony, representatives of caring individuals, enterprises, and public welfare organizations that emerged in the 40 years of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone took to the stage to share stories of selfless love and dedication. Together with the guests present, they reviewed the touching moments Shenzhen has brought to people in recent years and felt the transmission of love in the city.
Caring actions have become a platform that reflects the breadth of the city. In this action, the government, media, enterprises, social organizations, and citizens actively participated, transmitting the power of love to everyone in need.
