Group News: Nanshan District, Shenzhen Establishes Intellectual Property Alliance - HealthGen Elected as Vice-Council Unit of the First Council

On September 15, 2018, the Nanshan Intellectual Property Alliance was established in the Nanshan Intellectual Property Center. This is a major move by Nanshan to implement President Xi Jinping's important requirements for Guangdong to "be a leader in four areas nationwide," and a major strategy for Nanshan to create a first-class business environment.
The establishment ceremony was attended by Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee member and Executive Vice Mayor Liu Qing, member of the Party Leadership Group of Guangdong Provincial Intellectual Property Office Yang Xing, Shenzhen Municipal Government Vice Secretary-General Yang Xiuyu, Nanshan District Party Secretary Wang Qiang, Director of the Shenzhen Municipal Market and Quality Supervision Committee Kuang Bing, Director of the Nanshan District People's Congress Standing Committee Mai Linguang, Chairman of the Nanshan District CPPCC Chen Jun, and other leaders, as well as some members of the Alliance's Expert Committee and member units.
The Nanshan Intellectual Property Alliance aims to jointly create a favorable environment for the protection and utilization of intellectual property rights, achieve interconnection of intellectual property business flows, information flows, and capital flows, jointly build an open, diverse, integrated, symbiotic, and mutually beneficial intellectual property operation ecosystem, and provide support for the construction of a strong intellectual property nation.
The establishment of the Nanshan Intellectual Property Alliance marks the formal formation of a three-in-one Nanshan intellectual property comprehensive management system: "decision-making mechanism (Nanshan Intellectual Property Liaison Conference), service platform (Nanshan Intellectual Property Protection Center), and operation carrier (Nanshan Intellectual Property Alliance)."
The Alliance boasts a strong lineup of members, with its Expert Committee members enjoying a high reputation in the industry, and its member units being industry leaders.
Members consist of over 100 units, including intellectual property advantage enterprises, listed companies, output value advantage enterprises, unicorn enterprises, universities, social organizations, research institutions, financial institutions, investment institutions, and law firms in Nanshan District. Four units serve as the chairman units: Tencent Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., ZTE Corporation, and Mindray Medical International Limited. Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd. was elected as the vice chairman unit of the first council.
