On February 19, Jiankangyuan issued an announcement that its subsidiary, Zhuhai Lizhu Dankang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Lizhu Dankang"), and Beijing Xinkanghe Biopharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinkanghe Bio") jointly submitted a clinical trial application for "Recombinant Human Anti-IL-17A/F Humanized Monoclonal Antibody Injection", which has been approved by the National Medical Products Administration.

The recombinant human anti-IL-17A/F humanized monoclonal antibody injection can simultaneously target homologous dimers IL-17A-A and IL-17F-F, as well as the heterodimer IL-17A-F. These dimers act on receptors IL-17RA and IL-17RC, promoting the expression of other pro-inflammatory cytokines (such as IL-6, TNFα, IL-1β, IL-20 family cytokines, GM-CSF) and effector proteins, and further leading to the activation of neutrophils and macrophages, as well as epithelial cells and fibroblasts, playing an important role in the pathophysiology of many autoimmune diseases (such as psoriasis).

Currently, two imported products targeting IL-17A have been approved for marketing in China in 2019, and five other domestic companies have been approved for clinical trials, all of which are in the early stages of clinical research. For the IL-17A/F target, no products targeting this target have been marketed globally, and no other companies in China have applied for clinical trials. As of the date of this announcement, the cumulative R&D investment in "Recombinant Human Anti-IL-17A/F Humanized Monoclonal Antibody Injection" is approximately RMB 39.2376 million.
