On the morning of March 31, the "2023 Shenzhen Charity Conference and the 6th Pengcheng Charity Award Ceremony" was grandly held at the Shenzhen Conference Hall. The event was guided by the Shenzhen Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau and hosted by Shenzhen Press Group and Shenzhen Radio Film and Television Group, with the Shenzhen Charity Federation serving as the executive body.
At the conference ceremony, awards were presented to the Pengcheng Charity Role Models, Promoters, Exemplary Organizations and Projects, as well as to award-winning donating companies and individuals. Mr. Zhu Baoguo, Chairman of Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd., was awarded the 6th Shenzhen "Pengcheng Charity Award" for his outstanding personal charitable donations, achieved while maintaining high-quality development of his company and actively contributing to society through philanthropy.
It is understood that since the launch of the 6th "Pengcheng Charity Award", it has received a positive response from all sectors of society, receiving a total of 293 valid applications and over 2,000 donation data entries. After preliminary screening of the relevant data and stories by the organizing committee and public announcement, and after deliberation by an independent review panel using anonymous voting, the list of winners for the 6th Pengcheng Charity Award was produced. This includes 5 Pengcheng Charity Role Models, 5 Pengcheng Charity Promoters, 10 Pengcheng Exemplary Charity Organizations, 15 Pengcheng Exemplary Charity Projects/Charitable Trusts, 27 Pengcheng Charity Donating Individuals, and 30 Pengcheng Charity Donating Enterprises.

It is understood that Mr. Zhu Baoguo has served as Chairman of Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd. since 1992 and Chairman of CSPC Pharmaceutical Group Limited since 2002. In addition, he serves as the Executive President of the first council of the Peach Blossom Spring Ecological Protection Foundation and Secretary-General of the TNC (The Nature Conservancy) Greater China Council. He was awarded TNC's highest honor—the Oak Leaf Award.
As the chairman of two listed companies, Mr. Zhu Baoguo remains true to his original aspirations in both his career and philanthropy, always focusing on the needs of the people and patients, constantly extending warmth to all parts of the country. For decades, Mr. Zhu Baoguo has contributed to public welfare initiatives in chronic disease prevention, education, medical care, disaster relief, and rural revitalization. In addition to financial and material support, he has led his two companies in the "Inclusive Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment" public welfare project, leveraging the company's industry advantages to reduce the burden of medication for low-income chronic disease patients in many remote areas of China.
