GELONHUI October 23 | Health Union (600380.SH) Announces that recently, the company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen Haibin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as: Shenzhen Haibin), received the "Drug Supplement Application Approval Notice" issued by the National Medical Products Administration. Shenzhen Haibin's injectable meropenem has passed the consistency evaluation of quality and efficacy of generic drugs.
This product is suitable for adults and children with infections caused by single or multiple bacteria sensitive to meropenem: pneumonia (including hospital-acquired pneumonia), urinary tract infections, gynecological infections (such as endometritis and pelvic inflammatory disease), skin and soft tissue infections, meningitis, and sepsis. For empirical treatment of adult patients with febrile neutropenia, this product can be used alone or in combination with antiviral or antifungal drugs. This product can be used alone or in combination with other antimicrobial agents to treat multiple infections. There is currently no experience with the use of this product in infants with neutropenia or primary/secondary immunodeficiency.
As of the date of this announcement, the cumulative direct R&D expenses for the consistency evaluation of injectable meropenem are approximately RMB 15,210,500.
