Affected by continuous heavy rainfall, water levels surged in many areas including Anhui, Hubei, and Jiangxi provinces, triggering consecutive red alerts. A severe flood, unseen in decades, has occurred, with rainfall exceeding 200 millimeters in one-sixth of the country's land area—described by the China Weather Network as a "drenching." A large number of People's Armed Police officers and rescue teams have rushed to the front lines to actively carry out flood relief efforts.
After learning about the situation, Joincare Pharmaceutical Group Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Health Yuan Group"), led by Chairman Zhu Baoguo, donated 2.09 million RMB worth of American ginseng tea, known for its immune-boosting properties, to the disaster relief teams and People's Armed Police fighters on the front lines in Hubei, Anhui, and other provinces through the China Red Cross Foundation.
In recent years, whenever the nation has faced disasters, Health Yuan Group has actively assumed social responsibility and made selfless contributions. In 2003, the group donated over 6 million RMB in medicines and cash to medical workers fighting the SARS epidemic; after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, it donated over 25.38 million RMB in medicines and cash; in the spring of 2013, during the nationwide avian influenza outbreak, Health Yuan Group urgently donated "Eagle Brand American Ginseng Tea" and "Lizhu Brand Antiviral Granules" to the Guangdong Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention; and in early 2020, to combat the pneumonia epidemic caused by the novel coronavirus, Health Yuan Group and Lizhu Group donated a total of 22 million RMB in funds and materials, including funds directly allocated to the Zhong Nanshan Foundation and funds for the construction of Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals.
This time, Health Yuan Group joined hands with the frontline flood-fighting heroes, providing strong support to those working tirelessly on the front lines. In the future, Health Yuan Group will remain true to its original aspiration and steadfastly pursue its path of public service.
