The 2019 Peach Blossom Spring Ecological Protection Foundation Council Meeting was held in Hong Kong on October 28. Jack Ma, co-chairman of the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation; Zhu Baoguo, chairman of Health Spring Pharmaceutical Group and executive chairman of the board of directors of the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation; and more than 80 council members, representatives of council enterprises, and representatives of cooperating organizations attended the meeting. Zhu Baoguo and other council members received the "Outstanding Contribution Award."
Zhu Baoguo, on behalf of the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation, introduced the progress of council recruitment. Over the past year, the number of companies cooperating with Peach Blossom Spring has expanded from 12 to over 27. Zhu Baoguo thanked all the council members and enterprises for their enthusiastic participation and hoped that everyone would continue to support the Peach Blossom Spring Foundation's various work, using their influence to encourage more enterprises and entrepreneurs to engage in public welfare and charitable undertakings, using a public welfare mindset and commercial methods to protect the ecological environment.
The Peach Blossom Spring Foundation was initiated by well-known Chinese entrepreneurs, artists, and philanthropists, with Jack Ma and Pony Ma serving as co-chairmen and Zhu Baoguo as executive chairman. The foundation selects areas of significant conservation value worldwide to implement conservation projects, cultivates and supports local conservation organizations, explores sustainable funding models, promotes environmentally friendly ecological products, organizes outdoor experience activities for the public, especially young people, provides volunteer opportunities, and conveys a healthy lifestyle of "from nature, back to nature" to more people, realizing the vision of "leaving more green mountains and rivers for future generations."
